Overview
The tasks of a Field Technician: Other Home Appliances is to install newly purchased appliances like refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, water purifiers and microwave ovens. They also handle service and complaint calls at the client's premises. They diagnose and assess possible causes for malfunction of an appliance. If it is a minor problem they rectify it. They can even replace faulty or failed parts. If the fault is major they recommend factory repairs.

Work environment
Work includes travel. A normal work day is for 8/9 hours per day for 6 days a week. Overtime work may be there. Entrepreneurship: after gaining experience over a few years you can set up your own unit and start your own repair shop, and with more experience and network you may become an authorised service centre.
